What if Bruce Wayne never got privately tutored or went to boarding school but attended a regular public high school instead? And what if those halls were filled with teenagers plotting the demise of the student body or scheming to steal bake sale profits? Well, you’d have something called Gotham High.
Artists Jeffrey Thomas and Celeste Green recently they released a batch of never-before-seen Gotham High concept art, based on an old illustration they both created. Sadly, the project was lost in development purgatory, but these amazing images remain. The idea reminds us of Clone High (which is a very good thing). Check out the rest of the art, it’s just downright delightful. And here’s the official synopsis from their site.

The art work is sick- I spot Selena Kyle, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn… Sounds like it could have been a bit like X-Men: Evolution (I miss the old WB). I would’ve watched it.

I wouldn’t have minded watching this if it was a mini-series or a “What If” arc on The Batman.
Makes you wonder wtf is up with the decisions that WB/DC makes nowadays since they had shows like “Batman: The Brave & The Bold” on tv, but not this.
From what I’ve heard, this show was shelved since production on “Young Justice” seemed more promising.
I can’t hate on “Young Justice”, because I’m loving it, but I would have watched “Gotham High”….Oh Well.

I tried watching “Batman: The Brave & The Bold” but I couldn’t do it. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve really enjoyed a Batman series since “Batman Beyond” and that originally aired 10 years ago?
I want to say that WB/DC want to stick to the dark/edgy/thriller direction the franchise has been going in since the Chris Nolan Batman movies have come out, but the shows that have been produced since then prove other wise. All I can say to that is WTF?
I haven’t really watched “Young Justice” so I don’t really have an opinion on it. Oh well..
