Find Your Place

If you ever lose your place within
Know that I will be here to help you get through it
You’re not wrong to worry, but there’s more to this story
Take a while to catch your breath
Rest your head on me while you get your bearings
You’ll find a way to get back to the land of the living
Once you’ve set aside your differences & get back to feeling the same as this sunny day
I won’t tell you what to do, but I might ask you what you want to be
Stop focusing on what little others think & think for yourself some more
Speak easy it’s only me

You can take your time & mine
Give me something that makes you feel at ease
And I’ll show you somewhere where you can be free
I’m thinking a little music & a glass of red wine
What’s mine is yours & you’re all that’s on my mind today
You said you’d only be here for an hour, but eight have passed or so it seems
You don’t have to leave until you’re ready
Don’t worry, you can find yourself with me

  1. You know I must admit I’m curious do you have someone who inspires you to write some of your pieces? Or do you have friends that have ask for advice and you go from there?

Btw beautiful poem, ty for sharing! God Bless 🙂

  2. A bit of both actually. I tend to be the “Therapist” for some of my friends, even the ones that actually have Therapists.

    Thanks for asking.
