Another Mile

When life becomes too much, we take it in doses
Because we know that when one door closes, one of us will hold the other open
It’s not wishful thinking if it’s been proven
Time & time again we’ve fixed what’s broken
And we’ve found reason to smile when setbacks add another mile to our journey
So what’s another mile, another minute?

I know where I wanna be & I see what you want of me
So far everything’s coming up roses
Through it all, we’re still in it comes what may
It’s not that hard when you give me focus
On my life I swear I that I’ll meet you there
In that place where our dreamer’s disease & reality cross paths
