Real Games

Time to feel.

Time to feel.

One day you’ll know my heart
When you see my face
And everything will make sense
We’re not that far apart

We’re just different
We believe in different things
Yet I understand your every plan
I wish you’d fill me in & not just expect me to play along
Sure I know my role, but I won’t do as I’m told
Its not fair, its not right to stand for something just to give up the good fight
I’ve laid it all out time & again
Nothings changed except the pain that I’m dealt

One day you’ll know my heart
When you see my face
And everything will make sense
And I won’t feel alone

And when you forget
To tell me that I’m beautiful
To tell me something true
You fill me with regret
And all that is left is me alone with my hand wrapped around a phone
I’m not taking your calls
I’m done taking the fall

My troubles are too far
While this song’s in my veins
I’m dancing just to move on

One day you’ll know my heart
When you see my face
And everything will make sense
And I won’t feel alone

Yeah I’m a loser cus I don’t play to win
I don’t want to play those games
I just want something real
Time to feel

  1. Thanks Stephen. I’m honoured to have been the inspiration behind more than a few posts. This post is exactly what I’m feeling right now and I couldn’t have said it better. You’re a true friend. I’m truly grateful to have you in my life.

      • I’m glad to have met you as well Stephen. I’m not so sure what you mean by “lifesaver” but I’m sure you’ll let me in on that one soon enough…..
