I couldn’t get this song out of my head today. I have issues with being “fixed”, but it is reassuring to know that someone is willing to try to help me in the only way they know how. I can appreciate that, just as much as this song.

You know what happens? It’s like this… kind of carry over thing from when we were kids. We have a problem, someone “tells” us how to fix it and it goes forward like that… Just a thought. 🙂

My all-time fave by Coldplay! I guess I’m a “fix it” person. Maybe that’s why…I’m crazy. I mean, when you think about it, some things (a) aren’t fixable (b) don’t want to be changed and (c) aren’t MEANT to be fixed.

Even if you have the right tools & the right intentions, you might not be able to “fix” things. Some things & people need to solve themselves in their own time. But your willingness to help means a lot.

This is a beautiful song and I think about those lyrics a lot too. Sometimes I really do just want someone to tell me what to do. That doesn’t work with grown ups.

No one wants to feel “broken”. The only time someone should tell me what to do is when we’re naked… Or ordering food.

That was a prominent song a few years ago for me…looked to someone else to fix me but you soon realise it’s down to you…and he needed fixing too :/…(had some fun too though) 😉
