Down to the Core

Break the walls down with each breath you take.
Capture lightening in a bottle with your lips against mine.
Point the light in our direction, there’s nothing to hide.

It’s time to change what you know.
Let your fears run away from you.
If you want to stay the same, I won’t complain.
I’ll take you as you are.
My hands hold onto the unknown again.

Rearrange the pieces you’ve been given.
Turn back the hands of the past.
Stay a little longer than you should.
It’s okay to care down to the core.
Love always keeps you wanting more.
