Come Into Your Own

How can you not see what I see?

How can you not see what I see?

All you want is on the other side
You can be satisfied, just open your eyes
Let those dreams flow into your veins
Take in the air & let those fears be gone

Come into your own
Take your time
Find space to fall
Make room to rise

It’s funny how you see the world in black & white
Even though you’re so bright
How can you not see what I see?
You were wrong
Minimalists love what little they’ve got
But first you’ve got to get it

You stand out in a crowd without even knowing how
Top of the line, baby you’re too fine
I don’t know & I don’t care how far you may be
Miles become minutes when you’re the destination

Come into your own
Take your time
Find space to fall
Make room to rise

There’s nothing in the world like you
Such rarity demands attention
I could run my mouth, but it wouldn’t get me anywhere with you
We don’t play fair when it comes to loving
The thrill of the chase is its own prize
You know it’s true, so keep your eyes on me

You may have come here alone
But you won’t leave empty-handed
Make room to rise to the occasion
Come into your own
