Kissing Shadows (Pt. 2)

Don't say a word, just come closer.

Don’t say a word, just come closer.

I see your desire.
Your body betrays your silence.
These aren’t love drunk kisses, to be washed away by the morning light.
When we are alone we become different.
Colored by the light in our eyes
I want to see you in the dark, glowing ever bright.
You are what you love, not what left you.
Don’t say a word, just come closer.
Let these lips speak to your heart, one kiss at a time.

Kissing Shadows (Pt. 1)

This is how we lose ourselves.

This is how we lose ourselves.

Every time I see you I don’t know what to feel.
Is there a wrong way to love somebody?
We kiss the dark in search of the light.
You can feel the line start to tremble.
It’s impossible not to feel fondness melting into our every touch.
This is how we lose ourselves.
But that’s what we want in all honesty,
To be lost & found in an instant, a moment of truth.
The change is sudden & it’s never for nothing.

It Goes Without Saying

Am I your comfort?
Are you aware that I care?
A little too much is never enough.
Be honest with your words & your touch.

I love you.
I love holding you without pretense.
I don’t think about you, I feel you.
In more ways than one does my love for you know.
My affection for you shows more & more each time I am with you.

Be patient.
I will be there for you always.
We have something special, we just don’t know what it is yet.
Be still and it will come.

Be still.

The Science of Affection

What do I care if we never see eye to eye again?
Obviously I care enough that I had to come find you and show you how much I need you.
What I think of you is much broader than I’ve let on, and that was my mistake.
There should be no question of who’s got your back; I will be there, as close as you need me to be.
You’re broken, let me make you feel better.
You see my affection collected in the little things that I’ve done.
Give way to the things that are bigger than we’ll ever hope to be.

All The Right Moves (Hugs & Kisses)

I think we ought to embrace each other more. It’s an under-appreciated act of love. Political correctness has erased so much passion from our daily lives. It’s as if we’re afraid that even a well-timed and appropriate kiss or hug will somehow get us slapped with a lawsuit instead of positive reciprocation.
